Mantis electric utility bike
Mantis Electric Utility Bike is type of bicycle that is designed and engineered by Advandes to transport goods and cargo, popular in urban areas as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional delivery vehicles. It has a larger metal frame and is equipped with a cargo platform and basket that is attached to the frame to carry loads. The electric motor provides assistance to the rider, making it easier to carry heavy loads or travel long distances. It also has ability to carry passengers in place of cargo box by replacing rear cargo platform by seat. It can be used for deliveries by small businesses, food delivery services, couriers and for personal use.
Inspired by the Praying Mantis, known for their intelligence, tenacity, speed, and strength, Mantises possess an innate ability to blend with and adapt to their environment. They are efficient hunters capable of hunting animal’s multiple times their body weight. Their sleek, angular appearance befitting their ecosystem, gracefully hints at their underlying agility and hunting prowess.
Advandes also made prototype of this bicycle to evaluate the feasibility of a product, visualize the design, and refine its features and functionality. Performance, durability and endurance testing was also conducted to validate the design.
